POND VACUUMS

Unlike less-expensive single-chamber versions, this vacuum has two separate chambers are filled and emptied in alternating cycles. When one container is full, the second begins to fill while the other chamber empties. This permits continuous vacuuming of particles up to 3/8" in diameter, including algae, leaves, and silt. The debris flows through the discharge hose to any nearby planting bed. Normally the waste stream should not be returned to the pond, so vacuuming is not an effective way to remove large amounts of debris and is not a substitute for effective filtration and good water-quality management.

Standard attachments include a string algae nozzle, a wide nozzle with a rubber tip, a crevice tool, a floor nozzle, and an extenson tube, allowing the vacuum to serve as a general-purpose household wet vacuum when not needed for the pond. A 5 year warranty is standard.
